PAMI wants to measure your harvest losses

Want to know your canola combine losses? PAMI is doing a survey this fall and if a farmer volunteers a field for loss measurement, PAMI will share its results. The farmer may also get a first-hand lesson in how to measure losses.

PAMI’s quick blurb:

“During your canola harvest, PAMI will come to record the various crop information and combine settings you are using (e.g., moisture, yield, seeding date, fan speed, ground speed, etc.) and complete three repetitions of combine loss testing. PAMI will supply all the required equipment needed for the testing, and once completed, we should be able to provide you with immediate loss information.”
