Canola Watch quiz – Clubroot myths

This quiz highlights a few clubroot myths that Canola Council of Canada agronomy specialists have heard at meetings across the Prairies this past winter. We have a few "true" statements thrown in just to make it fun.

1. If I have aphanomyces in the field, I can't get clubroot.
2. With enough tillage, I can dry out the soil and kill clubroot.
3. Growing canola once every three or more years shows a benefit for clubroot management.
4. If I use CR before clubroot is present, I will break resistance faster.
5. If you see patches of clubroot, it’s too late to do anything.
6. Burning the stubble will get rid of clubroot?
7. Genetics are the answer to fixing clubroot.
