CPT data added to online tool

Canola variety results from the 2018 Canola Performance Trials (CPTs) have been added into the searchable database on the CPT website, so all your queries can now include 2018 data in addition to the 2011-2017 datasets. Find out average yield, lodging, height values or days to maturity for specific varieties or for all varieties grown in any number of years by using the searchable database at the bottom of the home page at canolaperformancetrials.ca. Remember to also check the 2018 CPT booklet for results from the trials. While the website contains all the small plot and field scale data from the standard trials (trials completed according to the standard protocols), the results from the straight cut trials (both small plot and field scale, which are carried out according to the straight cut protocols) as well as some additional clubroot resistant field scale trials are only found in the 2018 CPT booklet.

The above graph (of small plot straight cut trial results) is featured on page 17 of the booklet.
These tables are on page 21 of the booklet.

The 2018 program was funded by the three Prairie canola grower groups – Alberta Canola Producers Commission, Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SaskCanola) and the Manitoba Canola Growers Association, with contributions from the B.C. Grain Producers Association, and delivered by the Canola Council of Canada on their behalf. The 2018 program included 18 standard and nine straight cut small plot trials as well as 42 field scale trials across the Prairies (including 13 standard, 20 straight cut and nine clubroot-resistant variety field scale trials).
