CGC Harvest Sample Program provides quality report

The Canadian Grain Commission’s Harvest Sample Program is a voluntary program for Canadian grain producers. If you sign up, you will receive a Harvest Sample kit annually that contains envelopes for sending in samples of your crop.

In exchange for your samples, the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) gives the following results for free:
-dockage assessment on canola
-unofficial grade
-oil, protein and chlorophyll content for canola

All grade, dockage and quality results are assessed by the CGC. For 2017, samples are accepted from now until the end of December.
