FarmTech, Edmonton, January 29-31

Keynote speakers include Ron MacLean from Hockey Night in Canada and David Chilton, author of “The Wealthy Barber.” Alberta Canola Producers Commission’s AGM is Tuesday, January 29 at 2:45 p.m.

In the concurrent sessions, CCC agronomy specialists Clint Jurke, Dan Orchard and Greg Sekulic will present on “Canola Diseases – Blackleg, Clubroot, Sclerotinia.” Why you should attend this talk: Clint, Dan and Greg will simulate a conversation between a consulting agronomist and a grower, reviewing major disease hurdles for 2012 and discussing solutions to maintain profitability and productivity and stay ahead of major diseases for 2013. They will emphasize resistance management for blackleg and clubroot, which includes rotation of variety genetics, fungicides, herbicide systems and crops.
