July 2, 2015 – Cleardale UCC Update

As many people are aware, moisture conditions have been extremely variable this year, and at the beginning of July, Cleardale was a little dry. Lots of grasshoppers were found at the field edge of the Cleardale UCC site, and one plant was found displaying symptoms of root rot, although the field as a whole was not thoroughly scouted. The Boron treatment was sprayed on July 1, 2015 when the canola crop was at 1st flower.
